Benefits provided by the Securities Arbitration Commentator, Inc. |
Securities Experts Roundtable's Benefits Committee, in cooperation with Securities Arbitration Commentator, has developed these three benefits for SER members. We invite all members to please take advantage of the substantial benefits.
If you have any questions regarding these benefits please contact Rick Ryder, SAC's President and founder at 973-761-5880.
This free report delivers summaries that link to securities arbitration Awards from all forums, including FINRA. As a licensed distributor of FINRA Awards, SAC obtains FINRA Awards within days of their issuance. With UPDATE: ARBchek (aka SAC’s Award Reporter), you can view the Awards as we get them! SAC will enroll as a free recipient of the weekly 'UPDATE: ARBchek' any existing members or new SER members.
To view Update ARBchek, click View this Week's Awards.
ARBchek is a powerful online search tool designed to streamline the Award review process during the critical arbitrator ranking phase. With ARBchek, you may search 65,000+ Award records, viewing the results in summarized formats. If you think an attorney would benefit from the ARBchek service when preparing to rank his/her arbitrators, you can benefit the client by obtaining for them a substantial discount for the ARBchek package. The benefit to you is that it builds good will with retaining counsel and gets you involved with the case process at an earlier point.
Click to view the following on the ARBchek.com HomePage:
To arrange the discount, call Dawn Piegaro @ #973-761-5880 to introduce retaining counsel. SAC then determines the discount (25% discount - non-ARBchek subscribers; 10% discount -ARBchek subscribers. ARBchek subs already enjoy a price discount and are billed on account). SAC will call the client to explain the search process, the pricing, etc. while, if you wish, keeping you in the loop. SAC will be responsible for obtaining payment from the client.
SER Experts have the option to provide to SAC a select list of the Awards in which they have participated for entry in SAC’s Award Database. Securities attorneys use this database in researching their arbitrator and current cases. If your name comes up as an active or successful expert in similar cases, it may lead to future retentions from retaining counsel. Please send only FINRA cases that went to an Award.
To participate, complete the SER Experts Awards form, including the caption of the case, case number, and whether you testified or not. Email the form to Dawn Piegaro, dpiegaro@sacarbitration.com, SACs database manager, and she will check the Awards on each to confirm the info and may contact retaining counsel to confirm your involvement. She will then return to you a summary of the info that you provided for you to verify. If approved, she will update SAC's database with your name associated with those cases.
