Ted brings more than 36 years of financial services experience to his clients, helping each pursue lifelong financial goals and dreams through customized solutions and personalized service. Prior to joining B. Riley Wealth Management in 2012, Ted served clients in various capacities at Stephens, Inc. and Morgan Keegan.
Ted holds the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA®) and the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS®) designations from the College of Financial Planning. He is registered with FINRA as a Registered Investment Advisor Representative and holds state licenses to provide life, disability and long-term care insurance to his clients.
Ted is a graduate of Westminster College with a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration. He is also an inactive member of the Arkansas Society of CPAs and American Institute of CPAs. He served as a trustee of the Securities Industry Institute from 1998 to 2018, including serving as the Board of Trustees Chair from 2005 to 2007. Ted received the Morgan Keegan Community Service Award in 2006. Currently, Ted serves on the board of WEVL, Memphis’ volunteer and listener supported radio station, and is also active in Idlewild Presbyterian Church and the Memphis Hightailers Bicycle Club.
Ted and his wife Ann have three grown children and eight grandchildren. In his spare time, when not chasing his grandchildren, Ted is an aspiring triathlete, having completed full Ironman triathlons in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
