ROUNDTABLE NEWS - SER's Practice Management Committee (PMC) hosted the third installment of the 2026 series of PMC webcasts. "Mastering the Art of Direct Examination" featured SER members C olleen Diles (Moderator) and panel speakers Robert Jones and Hollie Mason (Marty Dirks was unable to attend due to a hearing conflict).This session covered the role of expert witnesses in legal proceedings, focusing on how they contributed to case narratives while maintaining neutrality and credibility during direct examination. Panelists explored practical strategies for preparing opinions, using visual aids effectively, and delivering clear, professional testimony. The session also addressed communication techniques, including body language and navigating poorly worded questions, to help experts present their findings confidently.
